BPJ Race 6th September 2010

On Monday 6th September we will be holding a BPJ official race 7.00pm normal time at Perdiswell as normal.

This is a race just for BPJ Members and is a 2 lap 5 mile course around the golf course area - the race will be clearly marked and marshalled and is open to everyone.
If you have never run a race before give it a try (a 1 lap option is available for the jog walk / beginners group who are daunted by the 5 mile option - but my advice would be to try the 2 lap course maybe)

The race is not just about the fastest as all times will be recorded so that next time we do the same thing, individuals can see their own improvement ..... and just to encourage people to enter and do the 2 lap option a prize of a case of wine is on offer to the person who is nearest with their predicted finish time! E.G. when you enter (on the night) you will be asked for your own predicted finish time (which will be recorded alongside your race number) & the one closest to thier time will get the case of wine.

The course is all off road around the golf course, paths and fields with the start finish on the edge of the Perdiswell field.

Stick it in your diaries & next time we do one because we have everyones finish times - we could do a handicap event perhaps
